Jazmyne Weber to be with Phoenix Suns forward Josh jackson next week when the team is awarded the first overall pick for the first time in franchise history.
We need to bring that possibility to life, and nine-year-old Weber is the one to help us win the top prize in the NBA Draft.
Josh invited Jazmyne to the Ability360 Sports and Fitness Center, where she was planning to attend a physiotherapy appointment. She was also given a personalized sports wheelchair so that she could continue to practice her hobby, wheelchair basketball.
Jazmyne’s mother Tordis Cooks and 12-year-old sister Jhaviana Cooks will join the couple on the trip to Chicago.
Tuesday, May 15, we will know if his luck pays off. The Suns have a 25% chance of landing the first overall pick.
Photos of Jazmyne’s invitation can be seen here. You can watch a video of the surprise event here.
